Crop your images. Anything within the frame that doesn’t contribute in some way to the whole image does not belong. Crop it out by getting closer or using a different angle to eliminate it from the frame.

Sometimes you get home and view your images and it’s not until that point that you realize there are distracting elements. You can use some basic image editing software to crop your images after they’ve been taken. Here are some free online image editing options:
