Look for interesting textures. Good textures can be an effective subject for a photograph in itself.
Artistic photos and interesting photos have texture. While a wide shot of entire building may have its own value, it may be more interesting to get a shot of just a wall or a door.

The Suffolk Photo Walk is an opportunity for us as a community to help one another see the art that is our city through new eyes.
Every day we walk by or drive past the beauty of Suffolk. Sometimes we don’t see it because we’re in a rush. Sometimes we don’t see it because it’s too small to see without zooming in. Sometimes we don’t see it because it’s too big to take in with just one glance.
The Suffolk Photo Walk is a chance for residents of Suffolk to capture the beauty of our town.
